TURKISH COFFEE POT CLEANING TIPS
-
The inside of the Turkish coffee pot should be washed only with water. Avoid soaps and detergents which eventually affect the aroma of the cooked coffee.
-
The outside of the Turkish coffee pot should be cleaned according to its material made. Stainless steel can be washed like any other kitchen utensil. For copper coffee pots we suggest only warm water.
-
A special attention though must be given to Turkish coffee pots made from copper for long-lasting results. This material is sensitive to air and becomes dull by oxidation. Their proper shining could be done either by using market chemicals or naturally by rubbing them with lemon and salt (cut a lemon in half and cover it with salt).
